Close the AI Gap in Your Compliance Record
Imagine your team is responding to a regulatory audit under frameworks like SEC Rule 17a-4 or FINRA Notice 24-09 on AI supervision. You pull the requested communications and everything seems to be in order. But as you review a critical email, you realize the context is entirely missing. The sender used an AI tool to summarize a complex financial report, and based on that AI-generated summary, they made a business decision.
You have the final email, but you don't have the AI prompt or the summary that shaped the decision. In today's regulatory environment, the outcome is captured, but the step that influenced it is not. That is a massive blind spot.
AI is already shaping how decisions are made across your organization, but in most environments, AI interactions fall completely outside traditional compliance workflows.
Extending the record into the AI era
With the Eucalyptus release of the Arctera Unified Platform, AI Interaction Capture extends your governance coverage directly into AI-driven activity. We are eliminating the blind spot by natively capturing interactions from tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise, with support for additional AI platforms expanding throughout 2026.
How it works in practice
It is no longer enough to just know that an AI tool was used. You need the full context. Arctera Capture pulls this data directly via API—on a scheduled or ad-hoc basis—without requiring any end-user installation or disrupting their workflows.
Crucially, we capture the entire interaction lifecycle:
- The Prompt: What the user asked the AI.
- The Response: The exact output the AI provided.
- The Files: Any contextual metadata or user-uploaded files associated with the session.
Once collected, Arctera normalizes this data into a consistent, archive-ready format. This means an AI interaction is presented in the exact same structured view as an email thread or a Microsoft Teams chat. It is governed through your existing policies during ingestion and made instantly available across your surveillance, eDiscovery, and audit workflows
Your organization can now include AI-driven activity as part of a complete, defensible record. You are no longer guessing how a decision was formed—you have the proof, fully governed and in context.
