Today, Arctera stands at a pivotal moment, not in transition, but in transformation, following our acquisition by Cloud Software Group. As a result, we’re doubling down on our compliance-focused product innovation, sales motions and customer experience by making our compliance operations a standalone business unit in the Cloud Software Group family.

The move will create a dedicated centre for excellence in compliance and governance solutions, which is taking on the Arctera name and standing alongside Cloud Software Group’s other leading enterprise brands, such as Citrix and TIBCO. I’m delighted to lead this new business unit.

The other portfolios previously supported by Arctera will also operate independently under the Cloud Software Group umbrella from today but will no longer be using the Arctera brand.

2025 was a year of unprecedented innovation for our compliance platform. Spinning Arctera out from Veritas delivered immediate and significant benefits for our customers as the Arctera Insight Platform stepped into the spotlight with dedicated resourcing. Now, we have the opportunity to progress this even further as we become 100% focused on our compliance business.

The freedom to focus over the last 12 months enabled us to deliver a huge amount of innovation, including:

  • AI risk reduction where users can capture, chronicle and contain AI-powered data to enable the responsible adoption of AI tools, while ensuring compliance.
  • Streamlined governance tasks through a GenAI assistant to simplify document review across a wide range of content types.
  • Broadened content capture through integration with over 130 content sources including WhatsApp, WeChat, Microsoft Teams, Slack and iMessage.
  • Seamless integration with business applications to deliver compliance data into existing workflows in apps such as Microsoft Outlook.
  • More granular insight through the User Audit View and Migration Management Dashboard.
  • Choice of deployment options, with new features added for both on-premises and SaaS deployments.

Cloud Software Group recognizes our progress and sees huge potential for Arctera. We’ve already proved to them – and to our customers – what we can achieve. And, we’ve done this in a short period of time and in a way that’s capital-efficient and performance-driven – setting us apart from early-stage, smaller-sized competitors who are still burning capital in pursuit of scale. Now, with complete focus on compliance and governance, and as a standalone business in the Cloud Software Group, we’re confident that we can achieve even more.

Our new structure is a best-of-both-worlds scenario for Arctera. We’ll have the autonomy and resources to pursue further excellence in the Arctera Insight Platform and the experience that we deliver for our customers. At the same time, we’ll benefit from the scale, savings and insight of Cloud Software Group and its leadership team.

I’d like to thank all of our customers and stakeholders for coming on this journey with us. I know that this is the start of something incredible.
